"Read my notifications" on your Apple Watch and Siri reads recent alerts aloud through AirPods or the Watch speaker. Raise your wrist or press the Digital Crown to wake Siri first. You can reply to a message right after by speaking, without opening anything.

If Siri doesn't get it

For private alerts, the Watch may need to be unlocked. Check notification privacy settings in the Watch app if Siri won't read message contents.
