Why won't Siri work on your HomePod?
Quick answer
Usually it's one of three things: "Listen for Hey Siri" is off, the HomePod lost its network connection, or it needs a restart. Check those in order and Siri typically comes back.
Say this
“Hey Siri, are you there?”
How it works
- 01In the Home app, open HomePod settings and confirm "Listen for Hey Siri" is on.
- 02Check the HomePod is on Wi-Fi and your home hub is responding.
- 03Unplug the HomePod for 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
- 04Make sure it's not set to a focus/Do Not Disturb that suppresses Siri.

If Siri doesn't get it
If it still won't respond after a restart, remove the HomePod from the Home app and set it up again — a fresh setup clears most stubborn Siri issues.
