Add a song to the queue with Siri

Quick answer

"Play [song] next" and HomePod adds it to the queue right after the current track, without stopping the music. Say "add [song] to the queue" to drop it at the end instead. A clean way to build a lineup at a gathering without anyone touching a phone.

Say this

Play Dreams next

How it works

  1. 01Say "Hey Siri" to your HomePod while music plays
  2. 02Say "play [song] next" or "add [song] to the queue"
  3. 03Keep adding tracks to build the lineup

If Siri doesn't get it

Queuing works with Apple Music. If a request replaces the music instead of queuing it, use the words "next" or "to the queue" explicitly.
