Start a FaceTime call with Siri

Quick answer

"FaceTime Dad" and Siri starts a video call with that contact. Say "FaceTime audio [name]" for voice only. You can call any contact set up for FaceTime, and on a Mac or iPad it works the same way. Siri confirms who it's calling before it connects.

Say this

FaceTime Dad

How it works

  1. 01Wake Siri
  2. 02Say "FaceTime [name]" for video, or "FaceTime audio [name]"
  3. 03Confirm the contact when Siri reads it back

If Siri doesn't get it

If the call won't connect, make sure FaceTime is signed in and turned on in Settings, and that the contact has a valid email or number for it.
