Set your thermostat with Siri

Quick answer

"Set the thermostat to 70 degrees" and Siri adjusts any thermostat you've added to the Home app. With more than one, name the room: "set the bedroom to 68." You can also say "make it warmer" or "what's the temperature in the house" to check.

Say this

Set the thermostat to 70 degrees

How it works

  1. 01Add your thermostat to the Home app first
  2. 02Wake Siri and say the temperature, naming the room if needed
  3. 03Use "make it warmer" or ask the current temperature anytime

If Siri doesn't get it

The thermostat must be a HomeKit-compatible accessory added in the Home app. If Siri can't find it, confirm it shows up there and is assigned to a room.
