Set an alarm with Siri

Quick answer

"Set an alarm for 7 AM" and Siri creates a one-time alarm in the Clock app for the next time that hour comes around. Add "every weekday" for a repeating alarm, or name it: "set an alarm for 6:30 called gym." You can ask Siri to change or turn off alarms too.

Say this

Set an alarm for 7 AM

How it works

  1. 01Say "Hey Siri" or hold the side button
  2. 02State the time, e.g. "set an alarm for 7 AM"
  3. 03Add "every weekday" to repeat, or a name to label it

If Siri doesn't get it

If Siri sets a timer instead of an alarm, use the word "alarm" and a clock time. Check the Clock app to confirm it's on and not muted.
