Reply to a text with Siri on your Mac

Quick answer

"Reply to [name]" on your Mac and Siri drafts a Messages reply, reads it back, and sends on your okay. You can also say "send a message to [name]" to start a new one. Messages must be signed in with the same Apple Account as your iPhone.

Say this

Reply to Sam, see you at noon

How it works

  1. 01Wake Siri on your Mac
  2. 02Say "reply to [name]" and dictate the message
  3. 03Confirm when Siri reads it back
