How to open an app's settings with Siri

Quick answer

Say "Hey Siri, open Instagram settings" or "open Settings." Siri launches the app, and for many apps can deep-link to a specific section using App Intents.

Say this

Hey Siri, open Settings

How it works

  1. 01Say "open [app]" to launch any installed app.
  2. 02For system settings, say "open Settings" then name a pane: "open Wi-Fi settings."
  3. 03Apps that support App Intents can open specific screens by voice.
  4. 04Combine with an action where supported: "open Notes and start a new note."

If Siri doesn't get it

If Siri only opens the app's main screen, that app may not expose deeper App Intents yet — open the section manually once and Siri may learn the shortcut.
