Mute the TV with Siri on Apple TV
Quick answer
"Mute" into your Siri Remote and Apple TV silences playback; say "unmute" to bring sound back. You can also say "turn it down" or "volume up" if your remote is set to control your TV or receiver volume. Handy when a call comes in or someone walks into the room.
Say this
“Mute”
How it works
- 01Hold the Siri button on the Siri Remote
- 02Say "mute" or "unmute"
- 03Use "turn it down" if remote volume control is set up
