Have Siri read the screen aloud

Quick answer

Turn on Speak Screen in Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content, then say "speak screen" to Siri or swipe down with two fingers from the top to hear the page read aloud. A controller lets you pause, speed up, or skip. Useful for articles, messages, and books.

Speak Screen reads the current screen; for full navigation by voice, VoiceOver is the dedicated screen reader. Adjust voice and speed in Spoken Content.
