Make a hands-free call with Siri in CarPlay

Quick answer

"Call Mom" with CarPlay connected and Siri places the call hands-free through your car's speakers. Use a contact name, a relationship you've set, or a full number. You can also say "call the last number" or "redial." Keep your eyes on the road; Siri handles the dialing.

Say this

Call Mom

How it works

  1. 01Connect your iPhone to CarPlay and wait for it to load
  2. 02Hold the steering-wheel voice button or say "Hey Siri"
  3. 03Say the contact name or number; Siri dials hands-free

If Siri doesn't get it

If Siri calls the wrong person, save full names in Contacts and set relationships like "Mom." Make sure the right contact has the number you want to dial.
