Does Siri keep your requests private?

Quick answer

Apple says many Siri requests are processed on your device, and that more complex ones use Private Cloud Compute, where Apple states your data isn't stored or shared and can be independently verified. You can review and delete Siri history in Settings.

Say this

Hey Siri, delete what I just said to you

How it works

  1. 01Open Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri > Siri History.
  2. 02Tap Delete Siri History to remove past interactions.
  3. 03Turn off "Improve Siri & Dictation" to stop sharing audio samples.
  4. 04Review which apps have Siri access under each app's settings.
